KML Files - How to View Waypoint Labels in Google Earth Map

By default, our KML files reef site Labels are set to OFF in order to make viewing the sites easier. If you would like to turn on Labels and see waypoint names at all times in Google Earth, follow these instructions:

  • Click on the KML file in Google Earth on the left column under My Places
  • Right click and select Properties
  • Click Style/Color tab 
  • The first row Label, change the Scale number from 0 to 1 to see the labels. You can tweak view by adjusting this number and it can be in decimals like 1.5
